North Lake School District 14 is located 55 miles south east of LaPine, Oregon between the 3 communities of Fort Rock, Christmas Valley and Silver Lake.
We are a one building district with 225 students (K-12) and anywhere from 11 – 24 students per grade. We operate on a 4 day school week, are 1:1 with Chromebooks and our school building received a recent renovation and addition in 2021.
Our area has some of the lowest land, housing and rent prices in Central Oregon.
We are part of the Eastern Oregon REN (EOREN) that provides strong novice teacher mentoring and free or very low cost professional development / continuing education opportunities.
We are close to many of Central Oregon's recreational activities and opportunities and have a certified salary schedule and benefits package that is competitive to other schools our size in Central Oregon.
